The mattress Bonell spring core coconut is a double-sided filling for the bed frame. The product is firm, made from a Bonell spring, a polyurethane foam and a coconut mat. It is particularly recommended for people suffering from orthopaedic conditions for whom doctors recommend resting on firm surfaces. The Bonell spring core coconut model is among the most common Bonell mattresses. It is also firm, but extremely flexible, which has been very popular for years. Bonell springs are made of high-quality wire with a diameter of 2.2 mm. The springs in the middle are slightly narrower than in the outer parts. Their characteristic feature is the progressive elasticity. A low load on the mattress causes low resistance from the springs; greater pressure increases the displacement force. The mattress is 16 cm high. On both sides, it has been covered with a soft and flexible polyurethane foam with a thickness of 2 cm, which makes the mattress more comfortable to use. A comfortable cover that can be washed is also included as standard.
